Description
Derbymed Myocrescat is a feed supplement for horses providing a concentrate of amino acids designed to stimulate muscle growth and development.
Myocrescat is a unique formulation containing 18 natural amino acids, L-carnitine and vitamin E.
Horses need well-developed muscles to be able to perform at the highest level.
Muscle mass can make up 40% of a horse‘s bodyweight. Myocrescat is rich in amino acids, which are essential for healthy muscle tissue growth.
L-carnitine is very important for the maintenance of muscle function, to optimise energy supply to the muscle cells and to increase oxygen?intake in high-performance horses.
Also, L-carnitine decreases degenerative processes in the muscle tissue that may occur in older horses or when feed intake is reduced.
When to consider Myocrescat?
Sports and young horses: Myocrescat provides all necessary amino acids for sports and young horses. Therefore, it helps to increase muscle growth and stamina.
Breeding horses: Myocrescat supplies broodmares with high–value amino acids, which are necessary for foetal development.
Older horses: Myocrescat decreases muscle breakdown and supports their increased demand for high–value amino acids.
In case of reduced calorie intake: Myocrescat supplies muscle with necessary amino acids and helps stop muscle breakdown.
Composition: Ground seaweed (spirulina) 45.0 %, alfalfa meal 25.0 %, linseed expeller 20.0 %, rape oil (cold-pressed) 3.0 %.
